Founded in 1997, Lane Technical Sales has grown from a small trading and sales rep firm to a premier distributor and manufacturer of LED lighting and industrial components. We are customer driven – we adapt to your needs to supply components, assembly services, quality assurance, and distribution support.

Our 100,000 square feet of warehouse, assembly, and office space is located on Chicago’s far northwest side near O’Hare International Airport. Our engineering team is in constant communication with our operations overseas, while out assembly and tooling crews work diligently to make your product a reality.

Our key areas of expertise are LED Lighting, Magnetics, Power Supplies, as well as PCBA and ODM finished products. We have engineering in both Asia and the USA to reduce your time to market and help assure that the product we supply to you meets your expectations. Our staff is also able to handle the submissions for agency approvals from both UL and Intertek (ETL). In addition we have the ability to build many prototypes here in Chicago and work with you on a personal basis.

  • Peter Haak
    Peter HaakPresident

    Peter Haak is President of Lane Technical Sales (LTS) and founded the company in 1997. Prior to the formation of LTS, he worked as a Regional Sales Manager for DNA Group, a manufacturer of switches, where his primary focus was the appliance and power tool market. In addition he has an extensive background in purchasing with companies such as Skil Power Tool, US Robotics, and United Conveyor Corporation.

    Peter has over 30 years of international business experience and has a background  in sourcing in the Asian market place since 1991. Although Peter is active with both customers and suppliers, he is primarily focused on strategy and infrastructure.

    • Mike Bosco
      Mike BoscoVice President Of Business Development

      Mike Bosco is VP of Business development for LTS.  Mike joined the company in 1999 and has been instrumental in developing the LED market place over the past 8 years.  Mike works extensively with our customers and acts as the project coordinator for new product development.  Mike’s strengths include development of  LED lighting systems for specific applications and environments. He also excels in working with customers to design and build  theft prevention systems and other custom electronic control and display solutions for retail customers.

      Prior to joining LTS, Mike worked for 13 years as a key account manager for a manufacturers’s representative firm, Thermek, where he called on major OEMs in the Midwest;  prior to this he had sales responsibilities at Midco Components and Micron Industries, a manufacturer of transformers.  When Mike is not selling he is playing music for his classic rock band, ML-2.

      • Deb Haak
        Deb HaakOffice Manager

        Deb Haak is the Office Manager for LTS.  Deb joined the organization in 1999 after 25 years of teaching, and is involved in the internal systems of the company, including purchasing, order entry, customer service and inventory.

        She has developed several tools to improve our management information systems, and is active with all customers and suppliers at LTS. Deb’s interests are family, art, and classic movies.

        We are proud of the relationships we have with our suppliers. Maintaining open lines of communication and frequently visiting sourcing locations gives us full confidence that our vendors are highly qualified to provide the exceptional quality product that you need.

        In addition, our Hong Kong engineering staff is available to source, inspect, or work on product development directly with overseas suppliers. Our robust partnerships have allowed LTS to significantly reduce lead times and tooling costs while maintaining pricing. The versatility of our vendors makes LTS uniquely capable of providing solutions for even the most urgent deliveries and sourcing.
